Itineraries

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Briefing about the trip. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate and begin your trek. Hike through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut for overnight.

Continue your ascent through moorland terrain with views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Overnight at Horombo Hut.

Hike across alpine desert landscapes towards Kibo Hut at the base of the summit. Rest early before the summit attempt.

Midnight start for the summit push to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Horombo Hut for overnight.

Descend through the rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you receive your summit certificate. Drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Depart Arusha after breakfast for Lake Manyara. Enjoy a game drive to see tree-climbing lions, elephants, and hippos. Dinner and overnight near Manyara.

Drive across the Ngorongoro highlands to Serengeti. Afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight at a Serengeti lodge/camp.

Spend the entire day on safari in Serengeti. Look for large herds of wildebeest and zebra, along with lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Overnight in Serengeti.

Morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro. Overnight stay on the crater rim.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Spot rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and lions. Picnic lunch inside the crater. Overnight at a lodge/camp near Ngorongoro.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your mountain and safari adventure.
