Itineraries
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short town tour or relax. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its diverse habitats and look for elephants, giraffes, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp near Manyara.
Day 3: Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Leave after breakfast and travel through the Ngorongoro highlands en route to Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight at a Serengeti lodge/tented camp.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives provide chances to see wildebeest, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 5: Serengeti – Olduvai Gorge – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing. Stop at Olduvai Gorge for a guided tour of this important archaeological site, then continue to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight on the crater rim.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This natural wonder is home to elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, and hippos. Picnic lunch inside the crater, followed by overnight at a lodge/camp near Ngorongoro.
Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and drive back to Arusha with en-route views of the Rift Valley. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of the safari.
